Therapy Sessions
Clinicians at C&B Psychological Services have expertise in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness.
How it works
Before we get started, we want to connect with you for an introduction to give you the opportunity to tell us what you’re most interested in working on. After that, we’ll schedule a time to complete an assessment which will give us the necessary information to create a plan for you to begin to implement to move you toward your goals and reach your potential.

Therapy that we practice
Clinicians at C&B Psychological Services have expertise in several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness. Each of these therapies is scientifically supported (sometimes called “evidence-based”), meaning that multiple, well-controlled studies have shown that these therapies are effective at treating certain psychological issues.
Who we primarily work with
Adolescents and adults across a wide age range who are experiencing difficulty with anxiety, mood issues, or emotion dysregulation. Specific issues may include depression (and associated suicidal thoughts/behaviors), social anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma experiences, emotion dysregulation, self-harm, general discontent, isolation and loneliness, relationship problems, stress, and life transitions.
What you can expect in your first session
In your first session, your clinician will ask you questions about what brings you to therapy, including any relevant recent life events, symptoms you may be experiencing, and treatment goals that you would like to work toward. You may also be asked to complete questionnaires to evaluate the severity of any symptoms you may be experiencing. These assessments will allow your clinician to better understand your reasons for seeking treatment, provide you with information about any potential diagnoses, and give you recommendations about available treatment options.
We see clients online
We currently offer both in-person therapy sessions and telehealth therapy sessions via secure, HIPAA-compatible video conferencing.
